Accommodation
Hummingbird Retreat House is a dedicated retreat space for adults only, offering a quiet, contemplative space. It is open for retreats from the beginning of October to the end of July.
Each of our king sized, en-suite bedrooms has generous storage space, ceiling and tower fans, free Wi-Fi, a writing desk, chair and multiple wall sockets (Type G - British standard). Bedding and towels are provided but please bring a beach towel because our towels stay on the premises. All the ensuites have showers which are heated naturally by the sun and so the temperature will vary according to the time of day. There is a heated shower in the Sanctuary apartment. Each spacious bedroom can become a twin room but please note that the beds are small singles (75cms wide). The house and garden are non-smoking areas.
We have partnered with Doliver, a local artist, who has provided paintings in his unique bold style to decorate each room. If you wish to take a special souvenir of your stay then please consider purchasing one of Doliver's paintings.
Mosquito nets are provided, although our guests find that the window mosquito meshing is all that's needed. So with our hotel standard king-sized beds and quiet surroundings we offer you a peaceful night sleep.
